Projected Baseline Claims Costs (No Program):
Purpose: Shows the estimated annual healthcare claims if no cost-saving programs were in place. This serves as the unmanaged cost benchmark, illustrating how claims would naturally increase each year due to factors like medical inflation and workforce changes.
Additional Health Savings (from Program Impact):
Purpose: The extra dollar savings generated each year by the percentage-based predictive analytics and health advocacy programs. These savings are calculated as a percentage of the Projected Baseline Claims Costs (No Program) for that year, applying from Year 2 onwards.
Projected Claims Cost Impacted by Predictive/Advocacy Programs:
Purpose: Represents the estimated annual claims cost after factoring in the savings solely from the predictive analytics and health advocacy programs included within Optimus IQ Plan. In Year 1, as these specific savings are not yet in effect, the claims cost remains at the baseline level for this column.
Base Savings from Optimus IQ Plan:
Purpose: The estimated amount employers save annually due to the tax advantage nature of Optimus IQ plan.
Total Annual Cost Savings:
Purpose: The estimated grand total of all dollar savings achieved each year from both the Optimus IQ Plan and the predictive/advocacy programs.
Net Claims Cost After All Savings:
Purpose: This is the employer's estimated annual healthcare claims expenditure after all cost-saving programs (both Optimus IQ and predictive/advocacy) have taken effect. It shows the true "out-of-pocket" claims amount, reflecting the total reduction achieved against the unmanaged baseline each year.
Annual Net New Savings Impact on EBITDA:
Purpose: The additional increase in the company's annual operating profit (EBITDA) directly resulting from the Total Annual Cost Savings. It shows the new profit generated by savings each year compared to the previous year.
Sales Equivalent Value:
Purpose: Translates the Total Annual Cost Savings into the amount of new sales the company would need to generate to achieve the same increase in operating profit (EBITDA). This highlights how valuable cost savings are compared to growing revenue.
Annual Increase in Enterprise Value:
Purpose: Shows the yearly increase in the company's total estimated value (Enterprise Value) driven by the Annual Incremental EBITDA Increase. This demonstrates the direct impact of savings on shareholder value.
Cumulative Increase in Enterprise Value:
Purpose: The running total of the increase in the company's estimated value over the entire projection period. This illustrates the total long-term shareholder value accumulated from cost-saving programs which is another benefit in addition to having a healthier workforce.
